“Seven Critical Things Every Entrepreneur Should Know Before Starting an Online Business”
Are you looking to increase your wealth and cash flow by starting a new business? The fact is, most people have no idea what they should look for – and what they should avoid like the plague.
I’ve listed the key points you need to set yourself up for success, in the blog post below. For more detail, listen to internet guru and multi-millionaire Aaron Parkinson share “Seven Crucial Things Every Entrepreneur Should Know Before Starting an Online Business” http://topccpro.com/zmaster/audios/kubjay6pm071608.mp3
- A unique product in high demand that is tough to copy. To determine if the product is in demand, ask yourself “would I want this product, is it valuable to me, even without the business opportunity?”
- Does it pay with a really lucrative compensation plan? Will you be paid up-front with good commissions, as well as good residual income streams? Will you make enough to get out of your J.O.B. and retire?
- Marketing System – Is it duplicatable, comprehensive, having a proven track record?
- What are the credentials of the business owners? Do they have long term goals, or will they be gone next week?
- Global Expansion potential - Does it have room to expand? Certain products may only appeal to certain people. Information products generally require less “red tape”, no inventory to deal with, and can be applied to many countries.
- Does the company give back? Are they in profit? Do they benefit others?
- Support and Training network – Do they have staff in place to help new members overcome obstacles, and learn and grow in the process?
Use this as a template to evaluate any opportunity you are considering. You’ll save money and gain better success in the long run.

Unique Perspectives on Social Media-Twitter and Facebook
I’ve recently re-discovered a great network marketer, Natalie Stahl of Platinum 7. Her website has some great free training, and a refreshing, slightly different take on some of the training and content that’s out there. Her underlying motivation in her training is “wanting you to be the best you can be”.
Natalie has a great, free training call on her site, “Getting Real Results from Social Media Part 1″. On it she covers Twitter and Facebook and the do’s and don’ts while using those tools in your marketting Here are a few of the points that I thought had a unique perspective:
Even though Facebook and Twitter can have a “party” atmosphere at times, there are some etiquette guidelines Natalie suggests. Just as in an actual party/social setting, you would not just walk up to someone and say, “Hi, let’s do business”, we should NOT do that online either.
She reminded us that we are still interacting with people. Think of talking to one person at a time. We should be engaging in converstion other than business, because people buy people, not stuff.
On Twitter, Natalie’s rule is about 80% of tweets should be valuable content and 20% sales pitch. She also advocates quality of tweets, rather than a barrage of pitches. Nobody particularly likes the person who constantly talks, without listening.
Remember, if we have a long term business perspective, we want to create a loyal following. One of her comments that struck me was this: “Imagine you are in a room filled with all the people who bought something from you. Now if that thought terrifies you, perhaps you need to look at your approach to marketing”.
How’s that for an integrity check??
Thanks, Natalie. Here’s the link to Natalie’s site: http://www.nataliestahl.com/training/

Some Reflections on the Recent WMI/CCPro conference
I was in Las Vegas last week for the WMI conference, getting an amazing education in how money REALLY works, how you can amass and keep more of it, even in the coming depression. This is stuff you have never learned before because it’s not taught in schools. Everyone on the planet needs this information, especially here in the US of A. Ever read “The Creature from Jekyll Island”? I’ve ordered my copy after listening to the author at the conference.
The caliber of speakers at both conferences was top notch, every one a leader in their respective fields. We not only learned about money and finances, but , true to WMI vision and mission, we explored the areas of healthy living, and gaining wisdom through personal development. A speaker who was particularly engaging for me was Andy Andrews, author of “The Traveler’s Gift”. I highly recommend the book to anyone who wishes to increase their personal success and live abundantly.
All in all, the information presented was at times sobering, and shocking, but also enlightening, empowering and life changing. I’m so glad I went and have absolutely confirmed for myself that these companies have the utmost integrity, that I am proud to be associated with. Time to take action!

Leadership and Teamwork in Nature
It’s a beautiful Fall day in the Pacific Northwest – crisp and cool outdoors, with a bit of frost in the early morning. Our city is right in line with the Pacific Coast Flyway, the migration path for Canadian geese moving south for the winter. All through November you can hear the noisy honking and look up to see great V’s of geese flying over head. It’s an awesome sight, realizing the instinctive, natural order at work.
You may know geese fly in a V formation because it creates lift for one another, thus saving energy. (if I had to fly as far as they do, I’d want to save energy, too!) They can acount for one another, also. Birds in the back of the group honk to encourage the on in the front to keep up the pace, as they break through wind friction. When a bird gets exhausted they help him and no bird gets left behind.
Seems to me that we could learn a few things from these geese. Leadership, teamwork, encouragement, perseverence – it’s not just for the birds!

Future Internet Business Owners: Respectfully, Are you Insane?
Someone once said “the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting to get different results.”
Now, I was not very different than most people – I’ve complained about one thing or another about my life through the years. Too little money, too many bills, how to pay for college, plan for retirement, afford to take a vacation! I’ve had to be constantly focused on money to ensure we had enough paycheck at the end of the month. As you hear about someone else doing something or having something neat in their lives, have you caught yourself saying “sure wish I could afford to do/have that. Must be nice!”
Or maybe we’re already working two jobs, trading our time for (little) money and exhaustion, while wondering why our husband or wife is distant, the kids are still misbehaving, bills keep piling up and our life still s….is not what we envisioned. But we keep plodding through our less than exciting lives, doing the same things, wishing it were different.
Call it the “magic of wishful thinking”, self-defeating behaviors, or insanity – it leads to a life that is out of balance.
As I look back on my life, I realize that it was the times that I dared to risk trying a new thing (like parasailing), or walking down the “road less travelled” that truly has made all the difference in my life. My decision to join the Air Force was one of those times. Even before the recruiter called back, I told myself I’d say “no thanks, changed my mind”. Then he told me I would be stationed in Germany for three years on my first tour of duty. I got to travel on my days off all over Europe, a dream of mine from childhood. I saw things more from a “local” perspective, than as a tourist. I made lasting friendships and oh yes, I met my husband, too! What If I had said “no, thanks, too scary, too big a change, already have a good job, family is here, etc, etc….”?
I’ve recently made another life-changing decision, to join CarbonCopyPro, to take the steps necessary to transform my lifestyle for more freedom and flexibility. I’m learning many new things about myself, about internet marketing, surrounding myself with a community of people who have created wealth in their lives through education and hard work. It’s exhilarating!
So I ask you – Are you insane? Or will you be a person of action? Will you clearly define your dreams – describe what your life will look like – and then do the steps necessary to get you there?
I encourage you to risk taking action – now – to consider the possibilities for changing your life. You’ll be in the company of some great people who have taken those steps already, are reaping their rewards and will help you do the same.

Successful Entrepreneurs – Unleash your Inner Elephant
Elephants are the largest land animals in nature, powerful and majestic. They live in well-organized communities in the wild. They care for their young, defend ferociously their family groups and mourn their dead. How is it that today they have become passive beasts of burden?
It has to do with training. Owners who raise elephants in Africa take a baby elephant at a young age, tie a heavy rope around one leg and tether it to a stake in the ground. The baby elephant can only go as far as the length of rope will allow. He has food and water within the length of rope area, but he is not able to roam wherever he wants. Even if mama elephant is at a distance calling to the baby, the baby elephant will struggle to no avail because the rope and stake are holding him back.
After a period of time, the young elephant becomes passively resigned to his confined space and will not struggle anymore. The owner can then reduce the tether system to just a string and a tent peg, but the elephant will not leave, even though he could easily pull up the tent peg if he tried. Ever notice a ring on an elephant’s leg? There may be no rope attached, but the ring is enough of a reminder of the training to reinforce being passive and helpless. The elephant will be docile and comply with the owner’s wishes.
Do we have a little elephant in us? Have we learned or been trained to be helpless, and have we passed that on to our children? We develop lists of why “we can’t” do something, anything: our parents, our friends, our circumstances, our fears (usually irrational) of failure.
But the “can’ts” in our lives are just like the elephants ring. We only think they hold us back. There actually is nothing standing in the way. Famous business philosopher Napolean Hill said “If your mind can conceive it, you can achieve it.” You only need to decide to dream of a possibility and then take action to move yourself towards it!
Dare to dream, set clear goals and then act with commitment. Become powerful and majestic again!

My Story – “Old Nurses Never Die, They Become Online Entrepreneurs”
My Story - “Old Nurses Never Die, They become Online Entrepreneurs”
Ever since I was a young girl, around age 8 or 9, I knew that I wanted to be a nurse. I remember thinking, if I could make a positive difference in just one person’s life, my life would be fulfilling – and what better way to do that than to minister to others when they’re sick, through nursing?
Hi, my name is Judy Jones, now all grown up, and I’ve had numerous opportunities to make small differences in people’s lives in my nursing career, both as a civilian and in the Air Force. I met my husband, an Army officer, while we were stationed together in Germany. We were married and the next twenty-some years were spent moving from Army post to Army post in the US and Europe, building our family of three sons, and enjoying the camaraderie the military provides.
During those years, I worked as a nurse part time and I dabbled in various direct sales “adventures” over the years. And while I learned a lot and had fun doing this, I did not become financially independent. I did, however, own lots of excellent food storage containers, candles and skin care products!
Fast forward to middle age, approaching retirement. The two oldest boys have gone through college, which we had planned for and weathered alright. But now the economy has taken a nosedive, and we watch with dismay to see our modest retirement savings shrivel up. My husband has a decent job in financial services, but it’s a very stressful one with long hours. My body isn’t tolerating 12 hour, physically demanding work days like it did in younger years. We thought we could retire early. Now it just keeps looking farther and farther away, if we keep doing the same things we’re doing.
A sudden realization struck me: something has to change! I don’t want to do this anymore. Don’t want to get up at 4:30 am, don’t want to ask “permission” to go on vacation. Don’t need this level of stress anymore. We want the freedom to live life as we want, on our schedule, healthy enough to truly enjoy retirement and travel when and where WE want, and still be of service to others, as we’ve done all our lives.
My hope was restored when I went online and discovered this great system that would allow us to reach all those goals, pay off debt, build up those retirement reserves, and become much healthier in many areas of life. I can’t believe how fast I’m learning to do marketing on the internet – something I never imagined I would be doing, at all, really. The step by step program is phenomenal, and the educational product is one that every person on the planet needs. The potential is limitless!
